I guess the stereotype is real

The thing that really impacts me from this photo is how totally different they are from their on screen personas. Niles wearing sneakers, eating a hoagie and lounging sideways on a chair?? Never!! And clearly there is no correlation to wealth, as people like David Hyde Pierce likely have more wealth than the characters they portray. It's a strange dichotomy for me, because I always wondered how similar the actors were to their on screen counterparts. I gathered from interviews and such that Kelsey Grammer probably was more similar in real life to Frasier, but was never certain about Pierce. It's a stark reminder that attaining a level of sophistication that is portrayed in their characters is probably not realistic and even if it were, you probably wouldn't want to.
