Exactly. I remember even at the time people were trying to go "What I thought the right loooved free speech!" as an excuse, trying to use the other sides arguments against them. And absolutely an excuse. Because the "woke" Twitter/Reddit/etc mob has gone after people before and after Gunn.

Look at Kevin Hart. Instead of having any introspection they just blamed the other side now that they were using the same tactics, complained, and then continue to do it constantly. But if you lean the right way in Hollywood you can always come back from it. Look at the Convington debacle a couple months ago and all the people that quite literally got away with suggesting murder on those kids, all because they had a blue checkmark.
