Not sure if you're joking but if you believe this then you must be one of those who don't care about optimizing resources, to the point of calculating income gems/tickets per month, set budgets, calculate the probabilities... And never break the rules for things you don't really want.

I'm f2p, have more than that, I just pity'd kuja burst and my budget is never lower than 500 tickets or gem pity. The person you mentioned can pull average 1-1.5 banner per month with that budget. Coupled that with decent plan to do content and low amount of favorites, they can even complete everything except CQs and get all favorites, while having that much. It's far from waiting for the last banner ingame.
