Again, you are directly attributing the matter of the comment to the subjects race. But that film maker is not renowned because they shoot Korean actors. He's renowned for things like cinematography, good screenwriting etc. That this painting reminded this person of the style of his films is not a racist comment. It could be if the image only had an Asian subject without the mood, framing, the blood, the reason explained for why the blood is there etc.

Ironically your comment is more racist that the one you claim is racist. You're effectively saying the only defining feature of a Bong Joon-ho film is that he shoots Korean actors.removing race from the equation you get a film maker who is skilled in so many diciplines and has such a unique style that this rather unique composition reminded them of that style. I find it hard to believe that if this person was really into Korean drama that they would say it reminded them of a Korean drama just because the subject is potentially of Asian descent.
