So we’re just saying fuck 18 year old who have to live on their own? No self protection for them? We already have an age restriction of 21 for handguns and guess what… handguns are the #1 gun used in crimes… because people who want to commit murder or armed robbery don’t really give a shit if they have an additional illegal firearms charge at that point. With these active shooters, do you really think that they’d be deterred from seeking out their weapon of choice because it’s illegal? It seems like most of them don’t plan on coming out alive so no law is going to stop them. Are we forgetting that the Buffalo shooter broke a wide variety of NY gun laws because, guess what, he didn’t care when he knew he was going to be committing murder.
