Gun ownership laws in Canada are about to change. Here's what is happening in Alberta | CBC News

Under the new laws they won’t be able to.

Trappers will absolutely still be able to, they are not removing the exemption for trappers. Or those who's occupation has them working in remote wilderness and need one for protection. Saying those people won't be able to carry their handgun is not true.

As well as a ban on airsoft.

Only replicas of actual guns, but not replicas of antique guns. Just make them clear plastic and paint the insides fluorescent and you'll be fine to play airsoft.

unfortunately there have been attacks as the bears food source scarcity has gone up.

Fatal bear attacks happen maybe a couple times a year in Canada. You can also get a exemption to carry a handgun with you if your main occupation has you in the wilderness and you need it to protect your life or the life of others.

I don't see much of a problem with anything you pointed out. C-21
