Are there any plans on reworks or improvements to the trait system? Currently if you spend enough time you will eventually unlock all traits and max them to 20, essentially becoming a jack of all trades.

I think it would be nice if a character had a limited amount of trait points to spend, which would mean that you have to make a choice when allocating them. I think that traits could take a similar approach as armor set-bonuses, meaning if you spend 5 / 10 / 20 points in a trait, you get extra bonuses.

As an example the trait "Bark Skin":

  • Increases Armor Effectiveness by +1.25% per Point
  • 5 Points spent: Reduce Armor weight by 5%
  • 10 Points spent: Reduce Armour weight by 10%
  • 20 Points spent: Reduce Armour weight by 20% and add an additional 50 flat armor

To prevent characters from becoming ridiculous op, you could limit the trait points a character can spend to e.g. 200, resulting in 10 fully maxed traits. In my opinion this would add an extra layer to the build craft element of the game.

That being said, i love the game and am exited for future updates!
