Gunman opens fire on hotel popular with western tourists in Hurghada, Egypt

except for the Bali bombing in 2002 which killed 200

So 2002 is the start of our time frame? Ok, cool. Bearing in mind that Indonesia's population is only 20% smaller than the US', here are some things that have happened in The States since then:

2014 Isla Vista killings - 7 killed

2013 Hialeah shooting - 7 killed

2010 Appomattox shootings - 8 killed

2015 Chattanooga shootings - 6 killed

2009 Fort Hood Shootings - 13 killed

2015 Tyrone shooting - 8 killed

2013 Santa Monica shooting - 6 killed

2012 Seattle cafe shooting spree - 6 killed

2005 Red Lake Massacre - 10 killed

2009 Geneva County massacre - 11 killed

2002 Beltway sniper attacks - 17 killed

2012 Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting - 7 killed

2013 Boston Marathon bombing - 6 killed

2015 Charleston church shooting - 9 killed

2015 San Bernardino attack - 16 killed

2007 Virginia Tech Massacre - 33 killed

2012 Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting- 28 killed

2012 Aurora shooting - 12 killed

2009 Binghamton shootings - 14 killed

2008 Kirkwood City Council shooting - 7 killed

2006 Capitol Hill massacre - 6 killed

2012 Oikos University shooting - 7 killed

2015 Umpqua Community College shooting - 10 killed

2011 Seal Beach shooting - 8 killed

2011 Tucson shooting - 6 killed

2007 Westroads Mall shooting - 9 killed

Total: 277 dead (including perpetrators in some cases)

These are mostly incidents that occurred in public places, or in which civilians were killed. Assuming there's no actual difference between death by bomb vs. death by bullet, I really don't see how the fuck Indonesia's terrorist attacks are any worse.
