Imagine being so myopic and intellectually selfish that you classify your entire generation as heroes (and all future generations lucky enough to be born after you of course) and all generations of people born before you as bad.

As if though the good ideas of your generation all of a sudden sprung up out of nowhere, and—unlike every other idea in human history—weren’t built upon the ideas of others.

As if though throughout all of history before you graced the world, no one had ever done something worthwhile.
