Man, you don't even know what you're talking about. First of all, devil's advocate?? You're not using that correctly and I recommend you look up the definition of the idiom if you use it in real life. I'm telling you why people do "mean" things online. I'm not advocating for anything or making up an alternate viewpoint.

Second, you're talking about the internet as a whole. I'm talking about...this post. You know, the thing we're...talking about? The guy posted a negative picture of himself online, which is akin to running into the street naked and not expecting anyone to say anything mean or negative.

You're blinded but your little crusade against a lack of respect on the internet you can't even stay focused on what we're talking about.
