Guy tests to see if Google is always listening to your microphone. Results are scary. Is this where we are heading?

A lot of nay sayers. Totally understandable, yes it is possible for him to fake it.

Although hasn't it been proved multiple times that PR companies have been all over Reddit controlling situations? I'm pretty sure a tech giant like Google would be all over this. If I got downvoted into oblivion, that would pretty much be concrete proof.

I think there is a better possibility that this guy is legit, and the people who are opposing it aren't.

Why? Because it's definitely happened to me in the past multiple times. I've had conversations with people about certain subjects and noticed the ads later when using my browser.

When you think about it, why does an item like Alexa or Google Home even exist? Why? Seriously.

Think

About

It.

Why would tech companies put all of the R&D into a device that is specifically designed to listen to you, and try and put them in as many homes as possible.

Makes more sense to me than everyone else in this thread. This is pretty much one of the main goals of tech companies and always has been since the birth of tech: to collect as much data to sell to people who want to sell to you.

Just saying.
