So you're saying that Trump's promoting policies that are to the detriment to the minority, but beneficial to the majority? Isn't that the same as sacrificing for the greater good that you just mentioned?

Lastly, the argument has always been that you shouldn't be charitable with other people's money. If you want to donate or help whatever cause you feel like, you are free to do so without having to be taxed for it or force that tax on others; forced altruism/charity is not charity, it is force.

The same way that you feel about Trump supporters, is the same way that Trump supporters feel of others. Which is why I understand why it is better to not try to change people's minds, because they feel just as passionately about their convictions and beliefs as I do about mine, so it will really get no where. Just understand that just because you cannot fathom why intelligent people would support different ideals or candidates, does not mean they don't have just as rational reasons for doing so as you do for your beliefs.
