God those boobies bands gave me ptsd. Some kid knew my mom had breast cancer, and wore the bands and constantly bullied me about it (it was very mean spirited, this was late elementary school and I was a real sensitive kid about the subject and basically the guy was actively taunting me and telling me my mom was going to die. She ended up fine but it was a big scare.) I ended up breaking down and crying in front of the whole class and they actually brought it up at an assembly about bullying (which made me super embarrassed because everyone knew they were talking about me.) I knew the bands them selves were for a good cause, but I keep relating them to that asshole kid. Hope he stubbed his toe today.
