yeah that price should have been the first red flag.

way too low for such an expensive phone (especially since iphones don’t lose so much value after a year)

A good tip is to check swappa or recently sold listings on ebay and go around +/- of about $50-100 of those if buying off of craigslist or offerup

also always put your sim card in to check before buying (but in this case, the buyer could have just reported it lost after the transaction)

Really sorry to hear about this but I think a 11 Pro Max can go for good money on ebay for parts. Make sure to detail everything (i bought it on craigslist and seller screwed me over). I think you can get around $400-500 for it (don’t quote me). so not a total loss.
