I think the only important common ground in this thread was your second paragraph. Where you discussed that burden of proof is necessary and unfortunately it is difficult in sexual assault and rape cases.

If we can agree on that then we've already come so far.

As for the women I refer to none wanted to press charges. It's the mental impact of rape and sexual assault.

I hope to not be a pariah for my cause, but if it helps a real rape victim come forward it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world because at least I know I didn't do anything wrong. Many others have a belief in god and if falsely accused they know themselves and their god would believe and understand them.
