The first step to changing those laws though is convincing people that that system is wrong, hence why I'm typing up paragraphs here lol. The only other way to is make the people relying on tips a little less happy about it so that they see a reason to change, it's hard to change laws regarding payment when the two unified groups, the companies and the employees, are both screwing over the unorganized general public.

Like I said, I still tip due to social pressure, but nobody should feel bad about not tipping when the employees aren't the victims and are still walking away with far more money than a fast food employee doing the exact same job.
