Guys, why do most of you like girls with no makeup?

Full face: foundation, powder, blush, highlighter, lightly fill in my brows (which are microbladed and get the most compliments), and darker/bold eyeshadow. I usually just wear chapstick or gloss on my lips. More of a "Goth" look I guess. My makeup seems to make patients feel comfortable with me and it's a conversation starter. Female patients tend to tell me they wish they could do makeup like me and male patients tend to tell me how beautiful they think I am/be kinder to me. A lot of coworkers ask me for makeup tips and tell me how pretty I look.

I hope I don't don't come off as having an ego, this is just how a nightly shift usually goes for me.
