Do you guys often break up with your partner when you enter a manic episode ?

I dated a girl that was bipolar. Everything was fine and then she felt like she needed to break up. She couldn't really explain it, she made some metaphor about being a bird in a cage, and then she broke up. The weird things was that the whole relationship was really beautiful. We were always there for each other, I even saved her life 2 times when she tried to commit suicide. And then when she broke up she treated me like shit and didn't really care about my feelings anymore, even though I didn't do anything. 1 week later I got my stuff back from her parents (She kinda ghosted me) and they both cried and told me that they don't know what is happening to her and that she completely changed over the last few days.

But I still love her, and I would take her back. I would probably try to get her to take meds, so we can see if that works, but the main reason why I ask this question here is because I'm scared. Like I said I saved her life 2 times when she tried to commit suicide and I want to to how much you guys regret such a break up. I'm almost sure that she will try to commit suicide a 3 time once the manic episode is over. And I don't really know what to do and how to help her.
