Why do guys on dating apps always want to keep things online instead of actually meeting?

Something that stays online longer than a few messages has little chance of happening.

So - fucking - true.

I actually HAVE given my social media to a number of people over the years. Not a SINGLE one of them was actually interested in meeting (in before some trolls claim my social media must be full of red flags, lol), despite their pretend-enthusiasm or willingness to chat aplenty online.

At this point, it's pretty much safe to assume that if someone gives a shit about you, they'd care enough to actually make a date or hookup or whatever else happen.

Look, I'm not suggesting "hey" "hey" "wanna meet" "sure, where and when?" You can have some back and forth for a while, maybe even a day or two. But eventually, you gotta nut up or shut up.
