Guys of reddit, what are some things you are expected to do in a relationship but want girls to do more often?

I do see some trends with some women who don’t put a lot of effort into dating. Not to say it’s 100%, but I found that most of the women I’ve dated who didn’t have a car of their own or even have a license, tended to expect more of me and less of themselves in whatever we did together.

But it’s incredibly common for women, at least in my area and around my age range, to not drive or have a car of their own, so it could just be that this is statistically inevitable to meet these types and it could be due to another issue unrelated to the car. I do immediately left swipe on any woman who makes it a point in her bio “You must drive and have your own car!”. I just always get this vibe of unwarranted entitlement in the way it’s phrased that makes me worried it’s more than just expecting success out of a man they’re with.

But the women who did drive and have their own car, more often than not, didn’t expect me to do everything and I typically had better dates and interactions with.

I think some of us guys have a problem taking what’s available and not being more choosy and we end up with some trashy people for dates because of that, and that in turn reinforces some trashy behaviors of these people, never allowing them to fully realize the problems they make that push guys away.
