Of course, and I have done just that. By all accounts, I'm a decent bloke. It's not for lack of trying either. I go out regularly, volunteer, work-out; it just doesn't happen.

I'm not meaning to be dismissive, it's just that I've been at it for about five years and still come up short. The advice that is typically offered in these situations hasn't helped. Friends, family, therapists, coaches and strangers haven't been able to identify any character flaw, physical deformity or behaviour that would hinder me.

So, that's it. I've thrown in the towel. I've got other areas of my life that have improved significantly and they are more worth my time and energy. It's just unfortunate I can't experience intimacy or love.
