Hello everyone, I just bought my first pair of fine boots and I'm a bit concerned on what products I should buy to make sure my boots will last.

My first instinc was to buy a dubbin or natural leather wax and nothing more but after some research I did found the Updated Introductory Leather Care Guide but I'm confused and overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information.

Could you give me a hand on what products should I buy to use on my boots? Should I buy dubbin/natral leather wax or conditioner, Is there a good brand which I could buy? Should I buy a shoes cream? shoud I buy a cleaner or water is enough? Is there an specific brush I should buy?
