'H is for hypocrisy': University of California students protest Clinton's presence on their campus

... You're making a boat load of assumptions about me. In fact given my comment history I was actually expecting bernie supporters to be attacking some other comments of mine. I certainly didn't expect the Hillary supporters to be coming out of the wood work, but since your here... and since you've expressed some opinions I actually agree with quite a bit (*upvotes*), let me rant a little.

All politicians are horrible people. Hillary and Trump are certainly higher up on that list, but that's not to say I like Bernie much either. He's just slightly less of a member of the ruling class. His ideals are actually particularly bad because they're dependent on a lack of corruption, which is just haha, yeah no. But that's off topic, you commented to hear me smash Hillary, right? Well let me tell you might biggest issue with her: she's a rich kid who doesn't grasp that other people agency in the world. She thinks the world revolves around her and that she can do whatever she wants. She forgets that she's there to serve us, and that we the people actually have a greater impact on the way the world works than politicians (certainly the lame duck politicians of late) will ever have. She get's by on her name and other people's money, people who mostly paid her off for doing some shit she should be in prison for. And all of that can be found on the front page of reddit in a week's time. Worse yet, the entire ruling class puts up this bs persona like they have in-depth opinions out side of whatever gets best headline. They, and especially her, say whatever they have to for "public" opinion in order to compete not with some intellectuals with thought out ideas but with people in the same fucking group (You know trump is actually friends with the clintons?). Then in case, god forbid, anyone criticizes them they've set up the system so that all the people bellow them are taught "if you didn't vote you can't complain" as if voting for option A or option A's friend is a real choice, and as if they're not trying to push their world onto other people (again forgetting we have agency over the world we live in, in forms other than an election that comes every four years, or some other bs rigged political system). Oh and the next one I love is that they'd make anyone who accuses the system of being rigged of being some crazy conspiracy theorist despite it being overwhelmingly obvious. Drifting to far away from clinton because they're all the same, but I do hope you're getting the idea.

Democracy isn't going my way because there is no democracy. It doesn't matter who wins, I'm not going to be happy because they're was never any choice. Hell even if Bernie wins, we're left with a self identified socialist (because that's never failed before) trying to work with some of the most corrupt jerks around.

Want me to get over it, fine. done. I'm over it, homie. I couldn't care less because above all there's almost nothing they can do to effect the world I live in. I make science and art. I improve the world live in, and I have more of an impact on that world than these ass-hats ever will. I'm on these threads to have a laugh, and occasionally (when a comment like yours pops up) to remind the lurkers how laughably pointless politics are.
