H3H3 - THE LEAFY RANT

Yeah, see I've been watching Leafy's videos since he had a relatively small channel, and the reason I originally subbed was because I just found him to be a really chill, harmless you-tuber with some inconsequential and interesting content. The thing is, the bigger he's grown, the more he's focused on these roast-type videos, and the more he makes, the fewer obvious targets he has. Meaning that he has to go after these vulnerable and largely undeserving people. Not only that, but it's just getting boring now, it's the same shit day after day on his channel. He needs to change what he's doing because at this point it is just straight up bullying, and if nothing happens then myself and a great many other people (I hope) will simply stop watching his videos and supporting his channel. In fact I have a feeling that this h3h3 video could catalyze quite a severe anti-leafy reaction on the internet, as we've see countless times before in other scenarios (think The Fine Bros, paid mods on steam, etc). So it's quite possible that leafy could be receiving some of his own medicine pretty soon - big time.

Which actually leads me into one other thing - the hypocrisy of Reddit in all this. You see, I'm a brony, and several of Leafy's videos have been pretty anti-MLP. You know; him ripping out bronies, some of whom are pretty strange - yes, but they aren't hurting anyone. These are the people that Reddit claims to be defending. Now I can actually look past Leafy's roasting of these people because I can understand why he might see them as weird. But I do find it interesting that Reddit is white-knighting for these sorts people now when just a few weeks ago the top fucking post was basically you guys having a big anti-brony circlejerk. I mean, I know it's not just bronies that Leafy makes fun of, and of course I get that Reddit is a huge community. One full of people with a vast number of different opinions, all of which can be expressed simultaneously, however... Go right ahead and feel free to call out Leafy, but be careful not to follow in his footsteps. As you all clearly have found (just like Leafy); it is childishly easy to make fun of vulnerable people who don't deserve it. That's why kids do it all the time...
