Hack reactor grads, how has your job search gone?

Market _is_ saturated in the SF area. I finished HR before the merger with Galvanize. After my cohort they updated the curriculum significantly after a rival school in LA (Codesmith) made the exact same changes and started kicking HR's ass in the LA market. I have heard that the changes were very helpful. I do not know how the numbers are now. When I was on the job search I got a lot of discouraging news from older grads that assured me it was much, much easier when they did it.

It took me about 6 months. Some in my cohort searched for close to a year. Some in my cohort stopped trying.

If I had to do it again, I would have tried their other locations where they are actually pretty good and moved to the Bay area after a solid two years of exp
