Except it was changed into the much worse Treasure Hunter like 3 years ago. There was in game lore and everything. Poor Yelps, was tricked into finding a stash of items with the instructions on how to sell it which caused hatred through out the community. Then the real 'owner' this chick named Alice showed up and took over, everyone rejoiced even more so when during the quest The Mighty Fall (bandosians fighting to see who would become their new leader after Bandos was killed) the goblins dumped Yelps into the arena hoping we would kill him and sadly many people did. Yelps did nothing wrong, was conned into taking the fall for a much bigger evil. Alice is the true evil. When Yelps was running things he did shit promotions like Samids Gloves and just basic prismatic amulets that you'd have to wear to get bonus xp and the wheel was filled with junk. Alice is the true devil, she took over and replaced prismatic amulets with stars containing bonus xp. Then she started doing promotions every week. Then they went crazy with prismania and smouldering lamps (how A Friend maxed his not p2w account). It got even worse as the four day weekend promotions were extended to 5 days while Tuesday were give a one day return deal leaving us with just one day a week without promotions. and at the end of the day people still blame the poor goblin that thought it was smart, that it could go beyond the limits of the rest of his race when in fact it was damn greedy humans conning him into taking the fall. Damn you Alice if there was ever a reason not to save the universe from the Elder Gods you, you are the best example.
