I get what you're saying. I'm saying it makes sense. It's mentioned because it's an option, but it's immediately dismissed because it's not something the characters need to 'think' about to know they don't wanna do it. People complain that's it's not brought up, but it is; it's just never really considered. I don't know why people need someone to think deeply about having an abortion before deciding they don't want one. It was an easy choice for me; it's something I didn't need to think about. I knew it was an option that existed, but it was not an option for ME. I think the same can be said of Lane. She's not dumb- she knows abortion exists. She also knows she doesn't want one. Why discuss it further?
