My partner and I travelled all through SEA. Spent time in Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos & Indonesia. Would take too long to mention all the stuff we did but basically just enjoyed living.

For the two of us, it cost around 65k for the year including the expenses from our investment property. We had an income while traveling (online businesses) which allowed us to have some flexibility.

My GF was working remotely with her current employer so she slotted back into work straight away. I work as a subcontractor (construction) so it wasn’t hard to find work again. The mental game of returning to work was the hardest part.
