I have HAD IT with people crying eugenics, murder and suicide when discussing childfree lifestyles in relation to overpopulation and climate change!

I agree. I’m not child free (childless, want kids one day) but I’m disgusted by how corporate having kids has become. There’s so many gadgets people have been guilted into thinking they need, and it’s truthfully not too much extra work to really lessen a child’s footprint. But at the same time, I’m tired of being told that you have to give up everything that makes you happy (in my case, wanting 1-2 kids one day) to save the world meanwhile the deeply rooted issues we can’t hope to fix go ignored so that the rich can make more money. It’s putting a bandaid on an amputated arm and then blaming the bandaid for not working hard enough.
