Haggy appears to be in desperate times

The main thing people are getting at here is not Parasite's knowledge. No-one is discrediting his depth of expertise is CoD.

Knowledge is, however, only one aspect of coaching. It's the foundation and backbone of being a good esports coach, but it is only one side of the picture. The interpersonal skills and professional discipline requirements of coaching is an entirely different beast. Approaching the emotional toll losing has on morale, getting young, talented, and cocky players on the same page, making tough decisions and having tough conversations, should NOT be understated.

This approach to coaching is essential when building a successful team, and is precisely the reason why the role should not be misinterpreted as being "extra". Good coaches are a "plus" to a roster, great coaches, like one Haggy believes himself to be capable of, need to be EARNED.

This is why he needs to prove himself. I believe he wants to better himself and become more valuable to teams, but there's a hint of truth to the idea of his past behavior on teams being incompatible with a coaching role, and is a big reason why I think he needs to prove himself capable, which in my personal opinion, he is. I just don't think you can walk into a starting position on a team in a 9-figure league because you know the game very well.
