Hagia Sophia, Istanbul [Building]

Well, the people have been boycotting for a long time, just not in platforms that are represented in international media. We’ve had a huge uprising in 2013, millions of people have rioted against the government and the current regime but in a country where the government is so corrupt, where they have access to incredible amounts of funds, and a rigged voting system, we’ve been silenced pretty quickly and aggresively. But like I’ve stated in my previous comment, we do have a new person in authority who’s just become the mayor of Istanbul this june, he sure is promising. With a current access to a quarter of our population in Istanbul, most of the country has high hopes for him being our president in the near future. I hope people that wqnt to visit Turkey never change their minds because of what they see on TV as the majority of Turkey is extremely safe and tourist friendly. If you have any questions regarding traveling in Turkey and where and what to see, message me! I’ve done guiding and translation around the country and may have some recommendations for you.
