Did you know plants make their own pesticides, and you consume them when you eat them? The human body can tolerate some, because it's robust, but compounding of these endogenous pesticides is actually very detrimental to your health. Also, the vitamins in meat are much more bioavailable than they are in plant sourced product. Plants are great - if you're starving. Otherwise, meat is what chemistry and biology says is on the menu, and you don't need 1 plant or carbohydrate to thrive.
