Here’s the fucked up part:

Late term abortions are largely illegal.

Serious deformities usually aren’t pinpointed until at least 20 weeks (gender check). But oh, at that point it’s illegal to abort.

Even if the parents want to donate organs to possible other baby recipients- from the baby that they know won’t possibly survive- the organs cant possibly be harvested until the baby dies of natural causes. Which could be up to a week or more. At that point the organs have all deteriorated and are no longer viable due to the terminal condition to begin with.

Sorry, but as someone who has been through 3 pregnancies and does not have some weird hang up on death- I think it should 100% be up to the parents. Late term abortion? That’s up to them, not you. Donating organs? That’s up to them, not you.
