Half a billion animals perish in Australian bushfires

I feel like not eating meat is taking evolutionary steps backwards. I’ve read Mark Pulans books. Have you seen Mark Pulan? The guy looks like a skeleton with skin on it.

I’ve tried to eat very little meat and animal products and with a physical job and workouts I just could not perform. I would have to spend so much time eating carbohydrates to not lose weight.

I’m not saying it’s not possible. But for most people meat is a hugely dense form of nutrition. I understand it all came from the plants the animal ate in the first place, but the animal has concentrated it.

Are there any long standing traditional diets that do not include any animal products?
