Halloween: Yes or No?

Not really. It's more of a kids night, but a lot of 14-25 year old use it as an excuse to be absolute morons and get drunk and high. Personally I've never liked it, I have had to go through town over the years on Halloween night coming home from work, and it just freaked me out and refuse to work past 5pm on Halloween now, like men, always in groups, using costumes that hide their identity to grope women walking down the street - happened to me twice on 2 separate years, in Dun Laoghaire and on parnell Street, and they just walk away giggling. Like if something worse happened - how are you to report it?! "Oh hi Garda, yeah I was just assaulted by someone dressed all in black and a scream mask..."

As a more settled down, moany anti Halloween aul wan, It's a time where I end up jumping 20ft into the air every few minutes from the bangers and screechers. My poor nerves this time of year.
