Halo 5 does NOT have campaign splitscreen because 343 wants to keep it at 60 fps (x-post from /r/halo)

-High barrier to entry

Not really, if you've ever played with lego, that's all the knowledge it takes to put a computer together.

-Expensive for anything decent unless you wait months for the best possible deals

Again not true, you can get a PC for cheaper than a PS4 that runs better than a PS4. (Guess you didn't google potato masher, so here you go)[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH6FCgqQB_s]

-Not comfy

Subjective, i'm comfy in my chair. Just don't buy a $40 office chair. That and you can easily play PC on a couch on a TV, did you even read my other comment?

-Most of the community are cancer

Most of console community is toxic as well, kids screaming at you through voice chat. Only thing to avoid on PC is really RTS games where they take those games seriously.

-All good games are ancient or look like mud without extensive modding

You can't really have it both ways, having this a negative for PC, as apposed to a positive to Xbox/PS. Pretty much every console game is on PC except for those like 3-4 exclusives. So i'm not sure which games you are calling fun on the Xbox/PS that don't look like mud. Pull down your shirt, your bias is showing.

+Best driving games, Best Exclusives, Best Online

Not current gen, the exclusives they have now are trash. The new IP are complete trash, and the Halo/GoW/Infamous/Uncharted are just rehashes. Exclusives exist only because of a buisness practice called (tying)[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tying_%28commerce%29]. These games don't need to be exclusives, they are only exclusives to try and get you to buy into a monopoly.

+competitive market means nice things like Bonus games with online and investing heavily into games companies for exclusives. (Yes exclusives are a good thing, you didn't lose anything and someone else gained something, don't be a jealous bitch.)

You DO lose something (why do you think people are being whiny bitches? cause they lost something), you lose the ability to play that game when it becomes an exclusive. It's not a competitive market, its a monopoly. Sony stays away from Microsoft and vice versa, they try and lure you onto their system where they will get a piece of profit from anything you buy on their console. Playing online for the PS use to be free, they looked over at Xbox and saw that people didn't care that it was free or not and were willing to pay money for it. So instead of staying free you are now on the $480 / console lifetime train.

+Based nippon glory

No idea what that is, so sure.

+Fun is the driving factor in most games ( maybe changing =( )

Has always been about the graphics since Crysis, fun games don't sell anymore, it's all about building hype and making the game look good to get those sales. This doesn't belong under PS/Xbox, this belongs under Nintendo. They have continuly focused on good fun games to play over graphics since the gamecube flopped in comparison to PS2 and Xbox.

-will never look as good as it could on PC

Again, who cares if it looks better on PC, where are your consoles are cheaper argument? And funner games argument?

-No flexibility when it breaks you have to replace the whole thing

Call your overlord, they will fix your console at a discounted price, rather than buying a new one. Or for free if its still under warranty.

-Very difficult to mod 99.99% of people will never touch the inside

Xbox and PS have huge modding communities. You are crazy if you think not. Yes you can play pirated games on all last gen consoles through modding software. Only matter of time before it happens with current gen.

-shit community (luckily most shitters move to one console, probably PS4 this generation)

Why even include this? There is always going to be bad apples. They don't just go to one platform.

+Wow, that comfy ... Note: comfy is impossible to explain but guaranteed to be felt.

You mad that i proved you wrong or something?

+Mostly in house productions means quality always

This is not a plus, the lack of good third party games just makes tying even worse here. You don't get the value of the console. It's a huge problem that is discussed frequently with Nintendo. They are the only ones that can deliver good games for their platform.

+consistently child friendly with very few exceptions (great if you have kids, are sick of grimdark.)

There are dark games for Nintendo as well. Resident evil 4 comes to mind. If you don't want your kids exposed to that sort of thing, it's simple, don't buy them M rated games. PS and Xbox both have a wide selection of child friendly games.

+Literally pure Japan (no western decisions by committee of randoms who want angry birds in their space sim.)

No idea what this means, but perhaps you missed Nintendo entering the mobile market. Potentially super mario themed angry bird ensues.

+Absolutely amazing community interactivity, you are not going to see any other execs doing this: https://youtu.be/YdDYoCU2kv0

How is that community interactivity? All they did was create an advertisement using execs. This doesn't benefit the community in any way.

-Consistently child friendly very few exceptions (sucks if you want to show anyone over 12 your new favourite game irl)

Don't know what you mean by this. Why is your new favourite game something no one over 12 would like? What are you inferring about yourself here? That you are a 12 year old?

-DLC on disk locked behind hard to get mcdonalds toys

That's pretty much every game on every console.

-expensive as hell

That's every console, Nintendo is probably the cheapest cause they don't go with as good hardware in their console. Though their first party games almost never go on sale and always stay at a high price.

-shit online

Yup, this is where you can talk about child friendly.

-rehash

Again, this is about every console exclusive games. Once they find an audience for a franchise they milk it til it can't be milked.

Really don't know what you were trying to prove here. Almost everything you said is bias.
