I was just giving an example of a new TV model that supports HMDI 2.1. Not that everyone is buying that model. You missed the whole point. That people buy bad TV's.
I never said it had everything to do with it. I was saying that this pandemic is hurting people upgrading for this year.
And that was my point, that not everyone is going to buy a fast gaming response 1080p TV. My original comment was that older TV's not meant for gaming had horrible response times.
Do you not have friends or Families with terrible TV's? Or Old TV's? Just because you are spending $400 to $600 on a new Console doesn't mean you have the money to buy a new TV as well.
I never said it was an issue moving from 5 to 7 years to a decade. I just asked are we including those in the fast response times of TV. That is a lot of TV's.
I am stating that people won't be able to buy the best TV for gaming this year because of a Pandemic and before the Pandemic for the other 5 to 7 years they didn't buy a fast response time TV, or didn't upgrade as frequently.
I could go on Rtings right now and find a ton of "New TV's" that are terrible response times from the past 5 to 7 years.
