The Red Bull was worse on the tyres compared to the Mercedes yesterday, and Mercedes were a lot faster in race trim. Yes Red Bull was supposed to be the better car, but Mercedes clearly didn't have the issues they had in Silverstone and were back to their usual dominant form. Bottas finishing behind Verstappen shows how good Max is, not that RB is fast. They were much slower and worse on tyres than Merc.

Max couldn't compete with Hamilton because he was in a much slower car. Max beat a Mercedes for sucks sake, again, and this is a testament to what a freak of nature Max is.

Where's the proof that he didn't push himself or the car? He was driving the fastest car (by a big margin) on the grid, and Bottas' race was ruined by the bad start and being stuck behind Stroll.

Just because they were supposed to be the better car, doesn't mean anything. Lewis himself said the car had none of the issues they suffered in the heat in Silverstone. Yesterday Mercedes were back to their usual insanely dominant form just like the start of this season.

Max beat Bottas, just like he had done several times already and is second in the championship, because he's the fastest driver on the grid.

If he had been in the Mercedes yesterday alongside Hamilton instead of Bottas, (assuming he had enough experience in Merc), he would've beaten Hamilton and would've won the race.
