Hamilton: Don't mistake my determination for ungratefulness

When no one is bringing up racism from the side that dislikes Hamilton and you're the one that brings it up you might be seeing things where there aren't any. You complain about a lack of concrete examples as for why he acts like a douche, but you bring up no concrete examples of people being racist against him. People saying he looks fake in interviews most likely pertains to the way he acts and conveys his emotions. I remember last year he would have almost the same podium talk for a couple races, where many times that crowd was the best crowd. Repeating the same podium talk makes it seem less legitimate, makes it seem "fake". He seems to have dropped that bit by now but that kind of thing does leave an impression on people and forms the way they see that person.

I won't say racism couldn't play a part in it, but I think the amount of people where it is a big part of their dislike is limited. As long as you have people not outright voicing their opinions against black people, I'd first look elsewhere. People judge others of every variety of skin colour on their demeanour and sometimes a person just comes across as iffy, even if you can't quite put your finger on why. Could (subconsciously) be racism, but in this case I'm fairly certain Hamilton would still get this much like and dislike even if he was white but acted the same way.
