Inherently though, politics and economics are intertwined within communism, because it requires cooperation from the community to "share the load" so to speak. This works in an ideal world until things get really bad, suddenly people don't want to "share the load" anymore, and people start to leave. Too many leave and your government collapses. No communist regime yet has figured out a way to stop this without threats, violence and murder. Detention centers (started under Obama) have no direct correlation with Capitalism, but solely politics that strive with keeping a nation sovereign. China has secret detention centers and they wouldn't call themselves capitalist.
