Hamza Tzortzis tries to debate embryology in the quran with PZ Myers, not knowing that he's an embryologist.

Not only that, but he has a couple of videos debunking scientific miracle claims!

Here's one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyf4gecrY8c

Even better, Hamza and other iERA members tell daw'ah teams not to talk about scientific miracles as part of their training sessions (I saw this on some of the training schedules on their website). He has also persuaded NAK and probably other well known da'ees to adopt the new approach. They realised there was an atheist backlash against all the scientific miracle nonsense (which reached a crescendo a few years ago - you could hardly visit a forum without coming across Muslims pushing this stuff). Hamza realised that people were and are leaving the religion when they look at the debunkings of the miracle claims.

The main trigger of Hamza's change of position was a paper I co-wrote debunking in great detail with many new arguments an embryology booklet he had produced. He even talks about it and cites it near the beginning of his article. In a video Dawahman specifically says that people left the religion because of our work!
