I've tried posting deals and get messages that "deal was already submitted" but then I don't see it anywhere.

I just ran into the same thing a couple of days ago in the course of some bot testing. I will bring it up with the mod that does the CSS.

It does seem as though when a specific URL has been posted before, it is preventing it being posted again. That is a double-edged sword: restrict a URL to one-time use and it presents a problem for sales coming and going on that specific item; don't filter at all and you get a dozen people posting the same deal.

For what it's worth, you can view domain submission history on Reddit using a path like:

 https://www.reddit.com/domain/[domain here]

For example: https://www.reddit.com/domain/woodburyoutfitters.com/

While response to the new CSS has generally been positive, there are users who don't care for it. Depending on how a person uses the subreddit, I can see cases for where it's useful. Looking for a deal on whatever bulk ammo? Click 'Ammo' and sift through the filtered results. Trying to find a very specific item? Yeah, it can be kind of busy.

You can always uncheck the 'Use Subreddit Style' checkbox in the sidebar to go back to a more traditional layout.

Truth be told, I've never been a big user of this subreddit on its own - it has been part of a multireddit that I browse, and I do occasionally hop on deals posted here. I am the newest mod, and I'm still learning the variations in use patterns everyone has for this subreddit to see if there's things we can improve.
