One of the frozen rules includes a Health and Human Services regulation that would force community health centers to pass along 340B Program federal discounts on insulin to low-income patients. The rule was supposed to go into effect January 22, but has now been delayed until late March.

The rule in question was literally never in effect. Even if you qualify as a low-income patient who has been getting insulin from a community health center without any government discounts already applying to you, Biden has not done anything to raise your costs. These were not savings that you ever had under Trump.

If insulin is more expensive for you now, it’s entirely because of external factors.
