Happy Halloween fellas. What are some of the scariest things you had to do on the job?

I was running a straddle packer system for a refrac and had the 3.5" CS connection under the TIW valve wash out. Had to go up and break off the 3" frac line so we could rotate the work string to close a downhole valve, then make up a kelly hose to bleed off said work string with 3000 pounds of wellhead hissing through the toasted threads the entire time.

Also had to rig up in a drilling rig in Dubai. Had a crane operator who had never pulled an injector before, and a coil crew that insisted on using injector legs. Damn near pulled the head off the rig floor.

Also also, when you get down to the belly wrap and you have to snug up the coiled tubing by whacking it with a deadblow mallet with 6500 psi circulating pressure.

Also also also, screened out on a coil frac with the acid for the next stage in the tree at the same time we lost our only stripper. Had to reverse circulate the acid out of the stack before we could set the slips and change the element so we had a 60 ft high acid sprinkler going for a while.

Hard to explain why I like this job so much.
