Happy Pride!

For what it's worth, the histories of the pride flag that I've read indicate that the change from 7 to 6 colors was a practical one in order to have an even number of colors (the flag had gone from 8 to 7 when the pink fabric for the original 8th color was difficult to acquire.) Was this an intentional omission of what the original 7th and 8th colors represented? I'm sure there's a ton of room for discussion of that topic for those who fly this flag. But my point is just that it doesn't require a company to want to "cash in" on gay pride to innocently but ignorantly post something that has seven colors instead of six -- it's easily done with good intentions.
