Harassment?

I have a couple questions and please dont take these the wrong way.

1) How do you know Y did all that in the bathroom? Did Y mention it? Is it based off Z's story? Were you in there? If you were in there, why didnt you say something?

2) About Y telling Z that he can she Z's nipples... I have actually told a female coworker the same thing (though I was more discreet, I had another manager there, I never said nipples, and I was telling here that she needs to wear a bra or something (She is someone who doesnt like to wear bras) since a lot of customers (excuse me...clients) were telling me that they had issues with it. My question here is did Y just out of the blue and in front of everyone say that to Z?

3) "Management knows that Z is a trans woman, but I feel like they would treat the situation very differently if Z was born a female or if Y was doing the same thing to the other females that work here. " MAYBE. You honestly cant say that for sure.

My advice here is to tread VERY carefully. As much as you may want to get involved, it really isnt your place. This is especially true if Z doesnt want to do anything about it (file a harassment complaint, talk to SM/DM/HR, etc.) All of this is compounded by the fact that it involves a trans person. I know that may seem mean or whatever to say, but it does make things more complicated. If you feel the store management isnt addressing it, then yes go higher.
