Hard data to add to the Rotten Tomatoes "Score Freeze" accusations

" DISCLAIMER: I personally did not believe nor disbelieve the fan boys claiming this accusation against rotten tomatoes. I am someone who just prefers hard data being inserted into conversation. "

" I personally believe this level of contrast should of produced some noticeable variance. But I dare not speculate why such a lack of variance occurred, and encourage nothing but optimistic explanations such as upset fans not bothering to write rotten tomato reviews. "

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know I was happy to let the data speak for itself, and people with more experience with Rotten Tomatoes put forward theories from the data. You know... because the entire point of this data collection was to start conversation!

In the post itself, I explained why I was personally confused by the data, but did not dare speculate why...

Do you know WHY I didn't dare speculate on the lack of variance? Because I personally am not confident enough with Rotten Tomato's review system as of late to make practical speculation.

Personally, after a week, I was going to amend this post with the general consensus which, personally, I am siding with the verified score argument, unless someone else brings other data in to suggest an alternative reason (But considering the facts, seems very unlikely).

But how dare you accuse me of trying to fit some narrative I DIDN'T EVEN AGREE WITH!!!!

You sir are everything wrong with society's critical thinking, by turning every single data analysis into an argument, being convinced the one who gathered the data has some vendetta against the subject.
In this thread I have barely added any anecdotal input, in fact I have actively disagreed with people on this thread about the idea of fixing review scores simply because all they brought forward was anecdotal evidence or down right misinformation.

The moment verified scores came up I stayed silent, and let the discussions naturally occur between people in the thread. AND I AGREED WITH THEM!

So please, don't assume my intentions, and sure as hell don't say I am what's wrong with critical thinking, as quite frankly it is the rudest thing you could of possibly said.

And as a massive P.S: I loved TroS, give it a solid 4/5.
