In my experience, as a fit dude the opposites were in my match bank. I work as a very physically active engineer in infrastructure construction and I'm doing everything I can to treat my body correctly yet that is not what I get online. They arent very active or healthy people like me. They are not even very life motivated. I've never tried in person dating as I do not get many interactions with women due to my career being mostly older dudes. But likewise the comments when I do get a date are complete disbelief that I have disappointing matches or that I'm not actively dating multiple others. I've had women swipe for me in an attempt to "help" and they just shake their heads everytime in disbelief and confusion. I think it's just the nature of online dating for men and women do not understand that because they really are looking for dudes that look like models. Most of their lives they've spent influenced by models on insta so it doesnt really help men in their dating efforts online
