Hard time adapting to car manual transmission.

I started driving a manual car before getting my moto license. I would say the issue here sounds like a finesse issue because you'll have more dexterity with your hands than you do your feet. The principles are all translatable.

WRT to the dry clutch/wet clutch thing, I'd say you're probably being a bit overly cautious with trying to not be in the slip zone as much as possible. Old Ducati's (pre early 2010's IIRC) had dry clutches and they weren't constantly blowing up.

Really it's all just practice. If you're really worried about it, maybe try going to a driving school that does manual driver training and paying for like 1-2 lessons a la carte to have a professional instructor watch you.
