Harry thought of Diana using cream ‘down there,’ book audio mocked online

“My mum used that on her lips. You want me to put that on my todger?” he questioned.

After some reassurance from his friend, he decided to go through with it. “I found the tube and the minute that I opened it, the smell transported me through time,” he says in the book. “It felt as if my mother was right there in the room, and I took a smidge and applied it down there.”

You don't find a grown man saying he was smelling his mom's favorite cosmetic and it made him feel like she was there with him and then to proceeded to rub it on is privates...weird? Honestly, what makes it seem so honestly creepy is the sharing it without a hint of self awareness. First of all....why did anyone need to know this? Is this literally the only thing he can think of tell us he misses his mom? That's weird. Disturbing a bit I think.

It's just one of many very abstract quotes from his book. Like the random bit about how William is old now and doesn't look like their mom....alright. He defends it in interviews saying it's not a "cutting" thing to say...ok...but then randomly wanders off on how they were once close, etc. Never really explaining why he needed to include this dig at him in the book. It seems quite obvious that being like Diana is the utmost important thing to him, so making a point of noting that William isn't like her is important to him. Important enough to randomly wedge it in there.

This paragraph comes off as being similarly unnecessary frankly. Like he's conveying something that he actually doesn't want you to realize he's conveying.
